My main focus is developing .NET applications. Through project-based roles at different software companies, I have worked on software built around business needs. As a Senior .NET Developer at Metazen, I work with the team in a hybrid arrangement and take part in technical planning and development.
My Responsibilities at Metazen
I assess software requirements and plan how the application works on the server and how data moves through it. My responsibilities include developing new features, updating existing modules and connecting systems so they can exchange data.
I clarify the scope with the team and break the work into development tasks. When investigating an application error, I check that the fix works in related operations as well as on the screen where the problem appeared.

How I Develop Software
Before writing code, I clarify which operations the application needs to perform, how data will be stored and what users are allowed to do. I organize business rules into separate modules and check that new features preserve existing behaviour.
I test the features I develop against different situations, including missing data and invalid input. After release, I investigate the causes of reported problems and make changes to prevent them from recurring. I keep the code understandable for the team and share the reasoning behind technical decisions.
